the Recording King RO-328 evokes classic style, sound & volume thanks to hand-selected tonewoods and vintage styling.
The foundation of the 328’s tone comes from select solid Adirondack spruce tops. Adirondack delivers a stiff, loud, lightweight top with powerful fundamental tone and excellent projection.
Combine the hand-picked Adirondack tops with select solid Rosewood back and sides, and you have the all-solid basics for guitars that have powered music for decades.
The 328 is finished with classy, low-key fretboard dots on the rosewood fretboard, and a vintage-style tortoise pickguard to protect the top. The 328’s classic rosette design and herringbone body purfling complete the traditional look.
For players looking for a guitar that shines for fingerstyle but can still cut through a jam session, the RO-328 offers the best of both worlds at a fraction of the price of a vintage instrument.
SOLID SPRUCE TOP
Spruce provides an ideal balance between strength and flexibility, hence its overwhelming popularity as the wood of choice for tops of acoustic guitars. Spruce’s versatile sonic character makes it ideal for a variety of musical genres and playing styles.
SOLID ROSEWOOD BACK & SIDES
Rosewood is a beautiful rich tonewood with deep colours which is beloved by luthiers all over the world to build high quality guitars from. Rosewood has a warm and very resonant tone, with plenty of volume. It's one of the hardest tonewoods being used for the body of a guitar but because of its porous nature it has a generaly warmer tone then some of the softer tonewoods being used.
