the T270 combines woods meticulously chosen for their acoustic qualities and an exemplary finish rarely encountered at this price. Each model features a solid Engelmann spruce AA top and the promise of a rich and precise sound.
SOLID SPRUCE TOP
Spruce provides an ideal balance between strength and flexibility, hence its overwhelming popularity as the wood of choice for tops of acoustic guitars. Spruce’s versatile sonic character makes it ideal for a variety of musical genres and playing styles.
SNAKEWOOD BACK & SIDES
Snakewood is also called Mexican Rosewood and has the same tonal qualities as Rosewood, it is a beautiful rich tonewood with deep colours which is beloved by luthiers all over the world to build high quality guitars from. Rosewood has a warm and very resonant tone, with plenty of volume. It's one of the hardest tonewoods being used for the body of a guitar but because of its porous nature it has a generaly warmer tone then some of the softer tonewoods being used.
OPEN PORE FINISH
Not only does the open pore finish enhance the resonance of the woods but it also reduces the weight of the guitar for improved playability. This model’s natural and brown finishes feature gloss top for high-end vintage look and feel.
