In Part 3, playing numerous pieces comes first, but also new scales and intervals are discussed, as well as Theodor Tonleiter's explanation of major and minor keys. The students learn to improvise on a chord progression. Furthermore, part 3 contains rhythmic development to the most common and used combinations of note values.
