It switches on automatically when you attach it to the headstock of your instrument, eg a (bass) guitar or a ukulele, and the tuning can begin. The BTU-150 is a chromatic tuner with a clear display that indicates in 3 colors whether your chosen tone is tuned too high (red), too low (orange) or clean (green), including indication of the pitch. The built-in piezo sensor ensures accurate tuning. The BTU-150 will turn off automatically when you remove it from your instrument or after 5 minutes of inactivity.
